- What is a "Global CO2 Reset" ?
- a short introduction to a Project AgroChallenge definition:

Introduction

Rune Ekman - the founder of "Project AgroChallenge" - has since 2004 on Internet defined  a  "Global CO₂ Reset" as the return of the CO2 concentration at the sea level by some logistic means back to ~300 ppm CO2 or a level similar to the CO2 level existing before man started to burn fossil carbon.  

The original CO₂ content in the 1850:ies seems to have been around 280 ppm with an annual variation seen also today on the "Keeling Curce" started in 1958 measuring CO₂ content on Mauna Loa, Hawaii, and still going on.

The current CO₂  atmospheric content is however currently in late 2009 approaching 390 ppm in the atmosphere.

A global CO2 reset means simply that on Your commercial order we let the "Plant Kingdom" selectively desuck CO2 from the global atmosphere by cultivating the most efficient ligno-cellulosic annual crop plant species for each climatic region in the world. The cultivation is followed by an annual harvest during which the the biomass is compressed to big square bales. This bales are then put into a big store the customer has to pay for during 50 to 100 years under compacted forms and with a minimum of plant nutrients in the biomass stored. The biomass stored is one form of C sequestering. Biomass of this type contain 44w% C in total dry matter biomass (=0 % water). This sequestered biomass can however also be further bred to a cascade of  non-combusted commercial comodity products. One example is the biocement or bioconcrete or biochalk walls made of e g the chives from hemp or other lignocellulosic crops. Thus the C atoms in the big bale from an annual biomass harvest can be further under guaranteed conditions be freed from future costs by the primary sequesterer by transsubstansiating the same C atoms into e g a house wall made of e g biocement.

If every years during comming 20 years 400 million villas are built each year each of them containing 30 tonnes biomass the total amount of this global "villa-population" will contain the 120 Gt C ofsil origin currently present in the global atmosphere after 150 years of fossil burning.

The complex overall logistics behind this most asserted professional atomic C control will be guaranteed under the highest ethical forms and in agreement with UN human rights and respect as well globally of all this. The only thing we expect from You as our customer is You clicks and payments made through our central toolbox on the frontpage. Project AgroChall will guarantee the whole sequencing of the atmospheric CO2-C atoms into the final C-deposition -preferably inte e g a house wall of biocement.

In the GPS era You will be able to follow everything and every bale from Your Project AgroChall login tool year after year fully transparent.

We can, however, not guarantee that we place Your order in the same region where You are living if You don´t order us to do so. Perhaps You wish to store some bales during some years before You process them into e g a biocement wall of Your own house within some years etc. 

When the CO₂ content of the atmosphere approaches 300 ppm CO₂ in the atmosphere - the level we passed in the early 1950:ies - then the basic aims of a global CO₂ reset is approached in the meaning we here define.

For each tone of fossil C combusted roughly 1/0,44 ton biomass has to be sequestered as soon as possibly to fully counterbalance thefossil C burning.

The deep sea storage has been excluded of pedagogic reasons below, but is included in the further discussions comming further down.
